Art Market Budapest is a major Central and Eastern Europe’s international art fair, with exhibitors from around the whole world. My works appeared there for the first time this year, at the fair’s 11th edition that took place on October 7-10, 2021.
It was quite an experience for me after these long months where social events were scarce to attend the fair and be able to present my works in the beautiful building, the Whale, as part of the exhibition by Jan Čejka Gallery together with sculptor Andrej Haršány and painter Jakub Sýkora.
Jan Čejka Gallery is a Prague-based gallery mostly focusing on landscape artworks, and this was the focus of our exhibition in Budapest, too. I contributed two of my projects: part of the Light Fields series and my brand new, smaller series, the Pinhole Project.
Art Market Budapest je najväčší medzinárodný veľtrh súčasného umenia v strednej Európe, na ktorý chodia vystavovať umelci z celého sveta. Tento rok som sa k nim pridal aj ja, na jedenástom ročníku veľtrhu, ktorý sa konal 7.-10. októbra 2021.
Po dlhých mesiacoch pandémie, kedy som mal len málo príležitostí nielen vystavovať, ale aj chodiť na výstavy, bolo pre mňa veľkým zážitkom predstaviť moje diela v krásnom architektonickom objekte Veľryba. Moje diela boli súčasťou výstavy pražskej Galérie Jana Čejku, spolu so sochárom Andrejom Haršánym a maliarom Jakubom Sýkorom.
Jan Čejka sa primárne venuje krajinárskej problematike, a takto prezentoval svoju galériu aj v Budapešti. Ja som na Art Markete vystavil dva projekty: časť zo série svetlých polí Light Fields, a môj úplne nový, menší projekt s camerou obscurou, Pinhole Project.
